Get involved in open Source C++ [duplicate] References This question already has an answer here: Getting involved with an Open Source Project [closed] 6 answers I want to get involved in open source c++ (preferably some c++11 stuff) but when downloading c++ open source I have noticed that the projects are all extremely large and even if I can understand what the code is doing it\'s difficult to know where to start. So my questions are: Are there any specific techniques people use to get used to contributing to an open source project and just start coding. what parts of the project should I look at I know about bug reports but what if I actually wanted to add a feature Just for some background, I want to do this: for my own entertainment keep my skills sharp after graduating (answering questions on SO only goes so far) why not make my resume a little better
